The Catholic religious order that runs De La Salle High School has agreed to pay $6.3 million to settle three lawsuits brought by former students at the Concord private school who claimed they were sexually abused in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
"You can't call it the worst abuse, but he has suffered the most of any of them," said Laurence Drivon. "He got sodomized multiple times, one of which was while he was chained hand and foot in a gay bathhouse in San Francisco. The guy who took him there was a Christian Brother."
