Yet Another Spontaneous Trip

Monday was the spontaneous trip to Hercules. Yesterday, it was a spontaneous trip to Concord.
I was sitting in class trying to stay awake. Sometime after 4, Nate IMs me asking what I'm doing that night. I told him I was in class until 5:45. He told me about the DLS film festival that was going on and said that he was in on of the movies. Figuring that I would have an agonizing time trying to stay awake in class, I basically packed my things and left campus during the class break.

The drive up wasn't too bad. It just took me a while to get back to the house to get my car. I left the house at around 5:20, put a few gallons of gas in, and made it into Concord by 6:35. I stopped by Costco to top off my tank then headed over to DLS.

They only had two movies to present... The latter was better made (not because Nate was in it). It was called Requirem for a Dream, based on the book. The cinematography was way better than the first. The only issue was lighting.

After spending a few hours in Concord, I headed back down to SJ.

I called Rick before I headed back, as he sent me a text message asking what is there to do in SJ on Tuesday nights. I told him I didn't know and he said to call him when I got back.

When I got back I IMed him, but nothing really came up in terms of doing anything.
