Sad News From My Grade School

First, someone from my graduating class commited suicide on the 4th of July. I used to hang out with him growing up, but lost touch when we went to HS. Going to a school where you stuck with the same 30+ kids for eight years, especially during your early school years, things like this take a major effect. I went to the viewing yesterday and the funeral was this morning, which I couldn't attend because of work.

Second, Justin informed me that Mrs. Weller, the school secretary while we were at St. Joe's died. He's not sure when, but apparently his mom bumped into Mrs. Weller's son.

And finally, two weekends ago, the middle school math/science teacher at SJS was strucked head on by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle, while doing his last training session before a ride competition in PA. After the competition, he was going to retire from biking. He sucummed to his injuries on Saturday at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. (Newslink)

It's kinda weird how tragedies either happen or made aware of in such a short timeframe. :/
