I know I haven't been posting a lot...

Work's been keeping me busy along with the spontaneous mid-week trips to the city.

In the past few weeks, I've made several treks to the city, a couple of trips to KoC, and attempted to look for another job.

Now with the latter...  I got a call last week from my firm rep that my contract end date was pushed up to 9/30.  I was supposed to be on board till at least December.  In the meanwhile, I applied for a permanent position in the service area where I'm currently working, but all of the contractors were pretty much all up for that position.  I'm not too optimistic nor am I too pessimistic about the whole thing.  Nobody seems to know exactly what's going on with the project, so I figured I'd be better off making some plans just in case.

This past week, I went to the city twice... both times to meet up with Andrew (777echelon777echelon).  Wednesday night was pretty low key, but I got a little drunk.  Friday night, was mainly spent making fun of our peers.  We ended up doing shots of Jaeger at the Metro, where there were a ton of ACT (a SF theatre company) guys.  You'd think,  Nope.  The ones we found hot, were indeed straight, with their token gay friend leading the pact.  WTF??

Anyway... other than the random Castro outings, I've been busy with work and sleep.  Yeah, I'm lame!

Oooh.... any of you going for Gay Days at Disneyland next month.  It's my first time going :)

EDIT:  I was going to put this in but forgot... here is the brief "what was I doing on 9/11" post I made five years ago.

Rereading this made me realize that I was a complete wreck during this time.  This was the time I was dealing with a lot of stuff personally with myself, my family, my sexual identity.  I guess I was trying to find ways to keep myself distracted... I don't know.  Many of you didn't really know me then, but I was going through some major stuff at the time, which nowadays would seem very out of character for me.
