Farewell, LiveJournal

I have come to a decision to cease posting on LJ.  For the past few weeks, I've been pondering this idea, but pretty much solidified my decision today.

From my solo blog from Blogger which then migrated to Movable Type during the early part of the decade, to LJ during the middle part of the decade, my thoughts and words have progressed and matured during the years.

Along with that, my life path has steered over towards a newer chapter in my life -- mainly my career and the people who have become (or in some cases remained a continuing) part of my life in the present.

It's only nature that time does a lot of things, one of which is drifting away.  Not to say that I'm severing ties completely, it's just that my life is completely different from what it was a couple of years ago and it's time for me to move on.

It's nothing personal with any of you on here.  I will still check in a few times a week to see how everyone's doing.  I just can't continue living in the past and LJ has essentially become what is my past.

If you still want to keep following me along in my life journey, Facebook will be my primary online presence.  Even my MySpace and my activity on it will become very limited.  So if you're already on Facebook and not yet friends with me, then feel free to add me. =)

I wish all of you well.
